We’ve all met them – the people who appear to be networking machines. They can’t go anywhere without coming back with a handful of business cards. We aim to build similar levels of expertise. Here are a few relationship-building tricks we learn in our Charismatic Solutions’ workshops:

  • Find Multiple Connections: If you’re interested in a certain company or trying to meet a business leader, try to find multiple different people who can help you connect to that company or person. This solidifies your reputation as someone who is worth meeting.
  • Be Willing to Help: As you’re talking to people, if you see a way you can help them, be willing to offer your assistance. Advice, connections, book recommendations, and more all go far when meeting and talking to someone. Charismatic Solutions’ associates are always looking for creative ways to help everyone around them.
  • Build Quality Relationships: Focus on getting to know the people in your network well as well as casting a broad net. It takes both getting acquainted with lots of individuals and knowing some of them well to have a strong, useful network.
