Among the many skills we train on at Charismatic Solutions, we emphasize the importance of learning how to network like a pro. Not only does this help us connect with people as we launch customer acquisition campaigns for our national partners, but networking is an aptitude that comes in handy when we meet influential leaders who can benefit our careers.

Recently, we ventured to the Top Leaders Conference in Dallas, Texas. “I’m so glad our company provides networking opportunities like this,” said Shannon, our Charismatic Solutions President. “I know our newest associates learned a lot they can apply back at our office, as we all discovered so much about our industry as a whole. What’s more, we met others who create innovative outreach campaigns for telecom service providers.”

To maximize our experiences, we advise our people to:

• Listen: When we focus more on listening to what others have to say, we find common ground we can use to build a connection.

• Research: Before an event, we suggest doing some online reviews of LinkedIn profiles on other attendees. This is a great way to have icebreaker questions that will impress the people we meet.

• Follow-Up: After we make a new contact, we should always drop them a line a day or two after the meeting, to keep nurturing the relationship while their memories of us are still fresh.
